Dayton Beach Park #1 Corporation a Limited profit housing corporation organized under New York Private Finance Housing Law, owns and operates Dayton Beach Park, a 1156 unit housing community on the sandy shores of Rockaway Beach, Queens. Among the oldest and largest housing cooperatives in New York City, Dayton Beach Park was established in 1964 specifically to provide affordable housing options for middle income residents as part of the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development’s Mitchell-Lama program.
